Applications are invited by the eligible candidates for the Posts Of Vidyut Sahayak (Junior Engineer - Electrical)

Name of the Posts: Junior engineer – Electrical

Number of Vacancies: 100 Electrical Engineer (including SC/SEBC/General) and likely to be enhanced in view of expansion . The number of vacancies may vary depending up on the actual requirement.

Eligibility: Qualification BE (Electrical) Only from Recognized University of India approved by AICTE with minimum 55% for Reserved Category Candidates and 60% for Unreserved Candidates, aggregate of 7th and 8th Semester, First Trial without ATKT (Passed in single attempt). ST category candidates can also apply on fulfillment of above criteria as General category.

Age limit: 30 Years for General (UR) Candidates & 35 years for (SC/ SEBC) as on 01-10-2011

Fixed Remuneration per month
1st year - Rs. 13,000/-
2nd year - Rs. 14,000/-
No other allowance or benefits would be admissible except coverage under Personal Accident Policy etc.

Selection Process: written test conducted by the Management of Gujarat Vij company.
How to Apply: interested candidates may submit their applications as per profarma downloadable from the web site www.dgvcl.com and duly forwarded by the competent authority. Those who are applying under UR/SEBC Category, they have to send Demand Draft of Rs. 500/- and those who are applying under SC category, they have to send Demand draft of Rs.250/- along with application. Demand Draft amount is non-refundable, towards application form fee, processing and scrutiny fee. Demand Draft from any Nationalized Banks favoring ‘DGVCL’ and payable at Surat.

Application should be super scribed as “APPLICATION FOR THE POST OF VIDYUT SAHAYAK (JUNIOR ENGINEER - ELECTRICAL)” on the envelope and posted / delivered to The Liaison Officer for DGVCL, L. D. College of Engineering, Opp. Gujarat University, Navrangpura, Ahmedabad 380 015.
