Orissa Maritime Academy Paradip Port (ORISSA), approved by Director General of Shipping, Govt. of India and ISO 9001-2008 Certified invites applications from eligible candidates for admission into Pre-sea General Purpose Rating course (Merchant Navy’s Crew Training).
Minimum Qualification: 10th pass from recognized board with 40% aggregate and (40% in English in 10th or In + 2 levels)
Age: 17½ years to 25 years as on date of admission.
Duration of course: Six months
Selection Procedure: Candidates will be selected on basis of English written and orals test. Preference may be given to ITI students.
Date of commencement of course: 1st JULY 2011.

The application process is online. The filled in form should be submitted along with a DD of Rs.500/-(Five hundred) drawn in favour of “Orissa Maritime Academy” payable at Paradip, Orissa state or deposit the amount with our bank ALLAHABAD BANK, PARADIP Branch, Savings Bank A/C NO.20219850316 and send the photocopy of counterfoil along with the forms.
